Abbi only had one sheet of homework today, which I had to beg her to do....such a difference in the two. I told her that if she did her homework I would let her play on the swing at Aunt Marsha and Uncle Scott's house. So as you can see, she grudgingly did her one sheet of homework and took the swing for a good spin. Once home she made her daddy drag the tumble mat out in the front yard (for the second night in a row) so she could tumble. We had to make her come in because it was dark. She then crawled in bed to watch tv and was joined quickly by her big sissy.
Just for fun I included the picture I was able to sneak of her last night watching Fern Gully with "the girls". She is so cute, she says "hey mommy, me and the girls are gonna watch Fen gully....K?" I then go in to the living room to find her and all her dolls lined up on the couch watching tv.....melt my heart. She is the most pure hearted person I know.

Taryn had a book she wanted to finish today after school because she plans on starting Gone With The Wind tommorrow. So she rushed home from school, had her snack and finished up her Ghost Stories book. She is soooooo sweet, I just love that she looks forward to ANYTHING that involves learning. I just hope it sticks. She has been studying the different kingdoms of plants and has a project due friday in which she has to display seeds. Since I recently cleaned up and cut back all the plants in our yard, we headed out to my aunt and uncles farm to gather some seeds. I used this chance to take some pictures. We then headed home to do her project....which I ended up doing most of because the hot glue is just too hot for a 9 year old. However she did supervise great. I couldnt help but include the pic of the girls cuddled up in Abbi's bed, I found them there about half an hour ago. Its nice to see they love eachother so much.

Tumbling Tuesdays

 

Tuesdays are very busy days in our house. Girls get up bright and early and head off to school, then after school is full of fun. Taryn has IMSA fusion and Abbi has Private Gymnastic Lessons.
Tonight after her lessons Abbi decided she wasnt done and made me drag her tumble mat into the front yard to play. She ended up having her sister and Hunter (neighbor boy)join her. She really enjoys her tumbling.
Taryn had a really good time tonight in fusion doing water testing. She said it was "AWESOME".

My sis in law just informed me that editing is overrated. Since she is the queen of blogging I am just gonna take her advice. So, here we go!

Today was a rainy day in STL, not the ideal day to go out and take pictures with our new camera. However, I really wanted to go and get some fun pics of the girls and play so off to the Science Center and History Museaum we went. On the way we made a "quick" stop at Old Spaghetti Factory because Abbi was very hungry. For those of you that dont know, my Abbi is probably the sweetest, kindest, most loving little person ever....until she gets hungry. She then turns into a child that we dont know. So we thought it best to stop and feed the monster in the back seat so Abbi would return for our fun day out.

I am well aware that I may possibly be the world worst blogger. The proof being that my last post was in April of 2010(LOL). However, I am attempting to change this! I am now done with RN school and have a little more free time. My hubby just purchased me a VERY nice camera and asked that I start "keeping up" on my blog, so here it goes. After spending all night getting reacquainted with blogger website and making it look pretty I'm done. Yes I know not a good start. I did however grab one pic from our trip to Chicago American Girl Doll Store to share. I will upload all new camera pics and edit them tomorrow so that tomorrow evening I will have lots of new pretty pics to share.
